    Abstract:

Objective Burst fractures are the most common injury in the thoracolumbar spine, which often cause aneurological deficit and present a significant economic burden to family and society. Biomechanical investigations, including in validation of injury mechanism theories, instrumentation systems, and reduction techniques, could provide abetter understanding of thoracolumbar burst Fractures. The ideal burst fracture model is essential to these studies. Thegoal of this review article is to improve understanding about the thoracolumbar burst fracture model.
