    三个月龄SD雌性大鼠64只,平均体重180~240g,作双侧卵巢切除(OVX组)和假手术(Sham-O组):术后第1,3,5,7月取L2椎体。另职新生24~72小时雌性SD鼠48只,丝线结扎切除双前肢及尾根部,建立双后肢大鼠模型。3月时再同法分OVX及Sham-O组,术后第2,5,7月时分别处死动物切取L2椎体,在测量椎体几何形态后进行垂直压缩试验,结果显示:OVX组椎体平均高度减低(P<0.05),椎体上端前后缘变大(P<0.05),OVX组1月时椎体载荷及能承受的应力等均已明显下降(P<0.01),7月时降至低值。双后肢大鼠组:力学测试显示各阶段OVX组力学强度明显下降,各力学参数呈现较正常应力组为高的趋势,可能与双后肢站立后椎体承受的应力增加有关。椎体力学强度的减低,以致即便是较小的创伤亦具有极高的骨折危险性。

    Abstract:

    In order to study the effect of ovariectomy on mechanical strength of vertebrae, 64 3-month-old female SD rats, weighing 180200g were divided into two payes for performing ovariectomy (OVX) and sham-operated(Sham-O), respectivly. The rats were sacrificed at 1,3,5,7 months later. Andanother group of 48 3 -month bipedal rats also renderment OVX and Sham-0 'operation and sacrificed at 2,5,7th month later. All L2 vertebra were measured morphogeometrically and then vertical compression test was caried. The results showed: in OVX rats, the average height of vertebrag became shortened(P<0.05), and the upper sagittal diameter become bigger(P<0.05). In abnormal high mechanical stress OVX rats, the average height of vertebrae became shorte-n(P<0.05), and both the upper and lower arrow diameter became bigger(P<0.05). The mechanical strength declined from 1st month and continued to the lowest at 7th month. Also the mechanical strength showed decline change but less than normal OVX group. Such alterations in bipedal rats may be related to the high mechanical stress in vertebrae. The mechanical strength is so low that the fracture risk is higher even in case of a slight trauma.
